BMW X6 gets some G-Power
German tuners G-Power have been at it again, supercharging yet another BMW offering.
Rather than opting for a sporty coupe or mid engine sportscar, this time the tuning manufacturer's have turned their attention to the X6 SUV, turning it into the world's fastest 'sport utility vehicle'.
To complement it's powerful engine - that's 5.5 litres of anger, combined with superchargers, an intercooler, ASA T1-316 compressors and forged pistons - G-Power has revamped the 888bhp vehicle into a mean fighting machine. With a custom wide body, combined with 23 inch alloys, this SUV certainly looks like no other.
Upgraded brakes, a titanium exhaust system and carbon seats ensure that the X6 M is considerably lighter than its standard counterpart, producing 8000 rpms and 640 ft lbs of torque.
Reportedly dubbed the Typhoon RS, autoguide.com report that the X6 M will be capable of reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph, making the school run rather more streamlined. Unfortunately for budding car buyers, G-Power are only producing 5 exclusive units, prompting enthusiasts to register their interest quickly.
However, buyers will have to have pockets as deep as a London penthouse apartment, with the final cost estimated by AutoExpress to be around the £570,000 mark.
