Buying Cars
Will you Buy My Car if it’s Been in an Accident?

If your car is damaged or even written off by the insurer, you may still be able to sell a car to us. If the damage to the car is minor and can be repaired, like a dent or a scratch, then yes, we’d certainly like to hear from you. The same goes for minor engine troubles, tired brakes, broken headlights, or any other small problem that we can sort out. Even if it fails its MOT, you may still be able to sell your car to us for a reasonable price.Greater damage done in serious accidents may not be a deal breaker either, although we don’t take cars for scrap or parts, so unfortunately if it really is totalled, you will probably have to sell your car elsewhere. As a rough guide, we’re interested if the market value is greater than £2000. Please do feel free to get in touch if you’re not sure.
In the case of damaged vehicles it’s best to enquire with us directly about a valuation rather than use the online tool, because we will need to get an idea of the full extent of the problem or the work that needs doing to make the car roadworthy again. You can do that by emailing us or giving our representatives a call. The quote will cost you nothing. It’s free regardless of whether you decide to sell your car to us or someone else, so it is always worth enquiring.
