Almost no-one can truly enjoy the winter months in Britain; it’s cold, wet, windy and people would generally rather stay in the warmth. We all have our heating on at home, we all wrap up more, we spend more time in bed and we just generally do all we can to keep as warm as possible. Unfortunately, as much as we’d like to, we can’t stay in our bed all day, we have to get out and face the harsh conditions outside. As if going out into the cold wasn’t bad enough, you then have to get into your freezing cold car. It’s like going from an oven to a freezer and this can’t be good for anyone.

If your car happens to be ten years old or over, then the chances are that heating your cold car probably takes around half your journey. This can be horrible for motorists, you sit there shivering for anywhere up to 15 minutes and when you finally get warm you have to get out in the cold again! It’s just unfortunate that heaters in older cars are just not as effective as those in more modern cars. But you may be thinking: "Who will buy my car off me?"
